System Requirements

Built for engineering workstations.

SimulATe runs on modern Windows desktops. The 3D viewer uses your GPU, so a discrete graphics card improves the experience.

Operating System

Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11. Tested on Pro and Enterprise editions.

Memory

16 GB RAM recommended (8 GB minimum). Heavy 3D scenes benefit from more.

Storage

2 GB disk space for the application + an extra 1 GB for cached brand databases.

Graphics (GPU)

OpenGL 3.3 capable GPU (integrated Intel UHD works; NVIDIA / AMD discrete is faster for 3D).

Display

1920×1080 minimum recommended. The dark theme is HiDPI-aware on 4K monitors.

Network

Internet required for licence activation and updates. Calculations and reports run fully offline.
